Hi there everyone! I am currently using the 8 **** film simulations to figure out if i would like to then further purchase the PDF version, however I am trying to figure out how to use these film simulations. The webpage states that "for photos, the effects are baked into JPEGs, while RAW files require matching presets to get the same in-camera colour." Does this mean that I have to shoot my photos in JPEG format to use the film simulations?
Also, when using these film simulations, do I need to adjust my White Balance every shot?
The FS are in-camera processing recipes. The idea is that you get great-looking jpeg's straight out of camera (#sooc). Just shoot jpeg+raw, and you can start processing at home if you feel the need to. And yes, you should adjust the WB manually or use one of the three custom WB slots of your camera. WB recommendations in the PDF work for daylight, best in sunny conditions. W/ artifical light sources/when shooting indoors, you will will have to adjust the temperature, likely to much lower values.
