I was wondering if there is a way that we could match the simulations to a specific scanner? When I was using film, I specifically had my lab scan it on a frontier scanner, pushed 1. I’ve been experimenting with the simulations for months now and I can’t seem to tweak my settings to match my film. Any tips?

That's great, thanks! It looks like your camera's white balance leans heavily towards magenta. I’d suggest pushing the color filter slightly towards Yellow, and gradually increasing the color phase by +2 to balance out the skin tones if they become too green. Additionally, lower the Kelvin by 100–200 to give your image a cooler tone, and shift those blues closer to cyan.
By the way, I’m currently working on a second version of Portra, similar to the style of the shots you shared. I’d love to ask you a few questions to fine-tune the look, and if you have more photos for reference, feel free to send them my way by email. Thanks again—I really appreciate your input!
These are SOOC from my Sony a7r. I’ve tried portra 400 from the purchased simulations and I’ve also tried Reggie’s 400 from your blog.
If you send a sample from both the film sim and your film scans, I might be able to help you match them closer.
