Hi there guys, just bought the sony picture profile menu and is excited to use it on my RX 100 VI. However, I've realized that the RX 100 VI doesn't have a Cine3 gamma. Does anybody know an alternative to it?
Also, I'm still new to using Sony and doesn't know how to adjust the Kelvin level and the Color Filter. Can anybody help to show/tell me how it's done?
Thanks guysss!!!
Use cine1 or cine 2 instead.
They're much softer in contrast gradations and has more noise reduction than cine3 (resulting in cleaner results), but it's similar in tonality. You might need to lower the Black Level by 3-4 stops to bring back the contrast that is lacking compared to the Cine3, which has a punchier look, and also for the Black Gamma choose middle -5. These settings are from the top of my head, I've not made extensive tests to match them perfectly. but these should bring you closer. The rest of the settings are the same.
Also, here is a playlist with bite size tutorials on sony film simulations, and you can check how to set up kelvin and color filter:
