First, let me say this is the happiest find on the internet I've had in a while. Your dedication to creating something new is amazing, and after a friend lent me his film camera, I've been craving to emulate that look with my FX30. What I find is the Picture Profile setting is just for the viewfinder of the camera, so I can create the "look", but it won't translate to the JPEG unless I have it selected under Creative Look, which is a separate setting. Is this just primarly to get a sense of what you are filming and how it could look after editing things in post? If that's the case, I'd be happy to buy the recipes for the Picture Profiles & LUTs for each that work with Davinci Resolve

I am a bit confused. Can you offer more details?
Are you shooting raw only? These film simulations are baked in jpegs/heif photos or video formats only, so if you are shooting images, you need to choose RAW+JPG or HEIF, as RAW files cannot translate all the data from the picture profile menu.
While you are using the picture profile menu, you cannot enter the Creative looks menu, they are separate and don't work simultaneously, so I am not sure what you meant by "but it won't translate to the JPEG unless I have it selected under Creative Look". Can you record a video showing what you mean?
The picture profile menu is not working only as a preview of how it might look like. It's baking the look into the photos/video footage, but for photos you need to also select the JPG/HEIF format, as RAW files cannot contain all the settings of the picture profile menu.
